Instructions
- Prepare the Caesar salad dressing. In a small bowl, combine lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, anchovy paste, and minced garlic.
- Season with salt and pepper, then whisk until smooth.
- Add mayonnaise and grated Parmesan cheese to the dressing mixture.
- Whisk again until fully incorporated and creamy.
- Rinse and chop the romaine lettuce.
- Place lettuce in a large salad bowl or on individual plates.
- Drizzle a generous amount of the creamy Caesar salad dressing over the lettuce.
- Toss gently to coat the lettuce evenly.
- Top with extra grated Parmesan cheese and croutons.
- Finish with freshly cracked black pepper, if desired.
- Serve immediately.
