Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Add spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Place seasoned chicken breasts in a large baking dish. Pour the spinach and mushroom mixture evenly over the chicken.
- Drizzle heavy cream over the chicken and vegetables, if using.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let the dish rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
