- 1 sheet store-bought puff pastry
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon coarse sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Peel, core, and thinly slice the Honeycrisp apples. Toss with lemon juice, honey, cinnamon, and flour.
- Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface into a 12-inch circle. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Arrange apple slices in the center, leaving a 2-inch border.
- Fold edges of the pastry over the apples, pleating to form the galette shape.
- Dot the exposed apples with small cubes of butter.
- Beat the egg and brush over the folded pastry edges. Sprinkle coarse sugar on top.
- Bake at 400°F for 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbling.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
