- 1 1/2 cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chopped chocolate sandwich cookies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine crushed cookies and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes. Let cool.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in vanilla extract and eggs one at a time.
- Stir in sour cream.
- Fold in the chopped cookies.
- Pour the filling over the crust.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is just set.
- Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour.
- Remove from oven and cool completely on a wire rack.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
