- 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet and melt.
- Stir in minced garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, parsley, and red pepper flakes. Simmer gently for 1 minute.
- Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the butter sauce. Cook for another minute to soak in flavor.
- Serve hot from the skillet or over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread.
