- 12 fresh jalapeños
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 6 slices cooked bacon, chopped
- 2 green onions, finely sliced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes depending on desired spice level.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, chopped bacon, green onions, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and optional hot sauce. Mix well.
- Spoon the filling into each jalapeño half, pressing gently to keep the mixture inside.
- Arrange filled jalapeños on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake in a preheated 400°F oven for 15–20 minutes, until cheese is bubbling and slightly golden.
- Serve warm or let cool to room temperature before enjoying.
