Description

This Crispy Parmesan Chicken recipe delivers golden, cheesy breaded chicken breasts that are tender inside and perfectly crunchy on the outside. It’s an easy weeknight meal and a family favorite. Great with pasta, salads, or sandwiches.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter

Instructions

  1. Pound or slice the chicken breasts to an even thickness and pat dry.
  2. Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mix of parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Dredge each piece of chicken in flour, then dip into the eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb-parmesan mix.
  4. Pan-fry in olive oil over medium heat until golden and cooked through, or bake at 400°F for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway.
  5. Serve hot and crispy with your favorite sides.
