Ingredients
Scale
- 2 Apples (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Fuji recommended)
- 0.25 cup Caramel Sauce (Store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Slice the apples as thinly as possible, about 1/8 inch thick. A mandoline slicer is recommended for even slices.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange the apple slices in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap too much.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce over the apple slices. A spoon or piping bag can be used.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°F (95°C) for 2 to 3 hours.
- Flip the slices halfway through to ensure even crisping.
- The chips are done when they feel dry and firm to the touch.
Notes
- Store cooled chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-5 days.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin pie spice, chocolate drizzle, or chopped nuts.
