Description

Create fun and spooky Frankenstein Halloween Rice Krispie Treats! This easy no-bake recipe is perfect for kids and parties, featuring vibrant green coloring and classic monster details.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups rice krispie cereal
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 10 oz green candy melts
  • 3 oz black candy melts
  • Royal icing eyes
  • Black jimmies sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Butter a 9×13 inch casserole dish.
  2. In a large pot over low-medium heat, melt the butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Pour in the rice krispie cereal. Use a spatula to stir until every piece is coated with the marshmallow mixture.
  4. Spoon the mixture into your prepared casserole dish. Press down firmly until it fills the dish evenly and has a flat top. Allow it to set for about 30 minutes.
  5. Remove the cooled treats from the dish. Cut them into rectangles of various sizes.
  6. Melt green candy melts in a bowl placed over a small pot of boiling water, stirring until melted.
  7. Dip the top of each rectangle into the melted green candy. Immediately sprinkle with black jimmies sprinkles. Add two royal icing eyes on each treat.
  8. Melt black candy melts in the microwave using short increments until smooth. Pour this into a piping bag and pipe stitches onto your decorated treats.
  9. Allow everything to set completely before packaging or serving.
