This Simple French Onion Beef Casserole is the ultimate cozy dinner made with caramelized onions, savory ground beef, egg noodles, and gooey cheese.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 8 ounces egg noodles, cooked
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add sliced onions and cook for 20 to 30 minutes until caramelized.
- Push onions to the side and add ground beef and garlic. Cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce and beef broth. Add cream cheese and stir until smooth. Simmer briefly to thicken.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. In a greased baking dish, mix cooked egg noodles with beef and onion mixture. Top with shredded mozzarella.
- Bake uncovered for 20 minutes until bubbly. Broil for 2–3 minutes for a golden top.
