Instructions

  1. Cut the sirloin steak into 1-inch bite-sized pieces. Pat dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steak pieces in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  4. Transfer the cooked steak bites to a plate and cover to keep warm.
  5. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.
  6. As the butter melts, add the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme (if using). Sauté for 30-seconds until fragrant.
  7. Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter to coat evenly.
