  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well mixed.
  2. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated. Allow the shrimp to marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 30 minutes for deeper flavor.
  3. While the shrimp are marinating, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using wooden skewers, make sure to soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  4. Thread the marinated shrimp onto your skewers, leaving a little space between each shrimp for even cooking.
  5. Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook them, as shrimp can become tough.
