- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup toffee bits
Instructions
- Beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and toffee bits gently.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Scoop large dough balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set and centers are soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before serving.
