Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups raisins
- 2 cups peeled and chopped apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1/3 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons brandy (optional)
- 2 9-inch pie crusts (top and bottom)

- Bake for 45-50 minutes, until the crust is golden and the filling bubbles.
- Cool before slicing to allow the filling to set properly.
