Description

A simple and delicious creamy ranch chicken recipe made in a slow cooker. This crockpot dish is perfect for a weeknight dinner, offering a flavorful and satisfying meal with minimal effort.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (1 oz) packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. Pour the chicken broth around the chicken.
  4. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
  6. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker.
  7. Stir in the softened cream cheese and sour cream until well combined and creamy.
  8. If using, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  9. Serve the creamy ranch chicken hot, perhaps over rice or pasta.

  • For a thinner sauce, add a little more chicken broth.
