Description

A quick and easy Ravioli Lasagna Casserole that brings all the comforting flavors of lasagna with less fuss, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ teaspoon minced garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 24 ounces jar spaghetti sauce, divided
  • 16 ounces square frozen ravioli
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, divided
  • Chopped parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Add minced garlic, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to the beef. Cook for about 1 minute, stirring.
  4. Pour in 1 cup of spaghetti sauce and stir into the meat mixture. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Spread about ½ cup of the remaining spaghetti sauce on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Arrange a single layer of frozen ravioli over the sauce in the baking dish.
  7. Spoon half of the meat sauce mixture over the ravioli layer and spread evenly.
  8. Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella cheese over the meat sauce.
  9. Add another single layer of ravioli, then spread the rest of the meat sauce mixture on top.
  10. Finish with the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
  11. Pour the last ½ cup of spaghetti sauce over the top layer of cheese.
  12. Tightly cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  13. Carefully remove the foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  14. Let the Ravioli Lasagna Casserole stand for 5-10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.

Notes

  • This Ravioli Lasagna Casserole can be assembled up to a day in advance and refrigerated.
  • You may need to add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from cold.
