Description

A comforting dish inspired by classic deli flavors in a Reuben sandwich.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 12 oz sliced corned beef (chopped or torn)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup sauerkraut (drained and patted dry)
  • 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp caraway seeds (optional, for classic flavor)
  • Nonstick spray or butter for the baking dish

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the dish, sealing the seams to form a solid crust.
  3. Spread corned beef evenly over the dough. Sprinkle with Swiss cheese, followed by sauerkraut. Drizzle Thousand Island dressing over the top.
  4. Unroll the second can of crescent dough and place it over the filling, gently pressing seams together to cover completely.
  5. Brush the top with melted butter and sprinkle with caraway seeds if using. Bake uncovered for 28–32 minutes, or until golden brown and baked through.
  6. Let cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
