- 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 small head green cabbage, cored and sliced
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 2 medium carrots, julienned
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced sausage and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove sausage and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onion and carrots. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
- Add garlic and sliced cabbage. Stir fry for 5-6 minutes until cabbage is tender but still crisp.
- Return sausage to the skillet. Add soy sauce, black pepper, and salt to taste. Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- If you want it saucier, add a splash of chicken broth or a bit more soy sauce.
- For a spicy kick, add sriracha or chili crisp at the end.
- If using pre-shredded cabbage, it can get mushy quickly, so watch it closely.
