- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 500 grams ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 medium carrots, diced
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1 cup frozen peas
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and sauté for 4 minutes until soft.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add diced carrots and pour in beef stock.
- Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes until the sauce thickens and carrots are tender.
- Add frozen peas and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve.
