- 2 pounds chicken breasts
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 2 packets (0.87 oz each) chicken gravy mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, gravy mix, water, and black pepper until smooth.
- Place chicken breasts into the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken, making sure it is fully covered.
- Cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Remove the chicken, shred it with two forks, and return to the slow cooker.
- Stir in the sour cream until the gravy is smooth and creamy.
- Let it sit for a few minutes to absorb flavors before serving.
- Serve hot over mashed potatoes, noodles, or rice, spooning extra gravy on top.
