Description

Delight in these Easy Sticky Buns, a sweet and buttery treat perfect for breakfast or dessert. With a rich caramel glaze made from brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup topped with crunchy pecans.


Ingredients

  • ½ cup (113g) unsalted or salted butter
  • 1 cup (200g) packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup corn syrup (may substitute honey)
  • 1 ½ cups coarsely chopped pecans
  • 2 cans cinnamon rolls (8 rolls each can or larger 5 rolls per can)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly spray a 9×9-inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium low heat. Stir in the packed brown sugar and corn syrup, bringing the mixture to a boil. Boil for 1 minute while stirring constantly, then remove from heat.
  3. Pour the hot caramel sauce into the bottom of the prepared pan, spreading evenly. Sprinkle the coarsely chopped pecans over the caramel layer.
  4. Place the cinnamon rolls into the pan on top of the pecans and caramel. Gently press them in so they fit snugly.
  5. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes until the rolls turn golden brown and are cooked through in the center.
  6. Remove the pan from the oven and allow the sticky buns to cool for a few minutes. Invert the pan onto a serving platter to reveal the glossy pecan topping. Serve warm.
