Description

Texas Trash Dip is a warm, cheesy, and hearty bean dip loaded with cream cheese, sour cream, refried beans, taco seasoning, and plenty of melted cheese. Perfect for parties, game day, or any gathering, this crowd-pleasing appetizer is served hot with tortilla chips.

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 can (4 oz) diced green chilies, drained
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions (optional)
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together refried beans, cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning until smooth and well combined. This is the base for your Texas Trash Dip.
  3. Stir in 1 cup of cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and diced green chilies into the Texas Trash Dip mixture.
