Description

Incredible Tiramisu Brownies fuse rich chocolate, fudgy texture, and the bold flavors of coffee and mascarpone for a decadent dessert experience. This easy-to-make recipe is perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee, cooled
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur (optional)
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter with the granulated sugar. Mix until well incorporated.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Continue mixing until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips to the batter.
  7. Spread the brownie batter evenly into the greased baking pan, smoothing the top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan on a wire rack for about 30 minutes.
  10. While the brownies cool, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and coffee liqueur until smooth and creamy.
  11. Dip each brownie square into the cooled espresso for a brief moment, then place them back into the pan.
  12. Spread the mascarpone layer generously over the cooled brownies.
  13. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the brownies to set.
  14. Before serving, dust the top with unsweetened cocoa powder for an elegant finish.

Notes

  • Use freshly brewed espresso for the best flavor.
  • Ensure brownies cool completely before adding the tiramisu layer.
  • Experiment with coffee liqueur for enhanced taste.
  • These brownies can be made a day ahead for better flavor melding.
