Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Ground Turkey (93% Lean)
  • 3/4 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
  • 1/2 cup Milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 cup Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup Parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined to create your turkey meatloaf mixture.
  3. Transfer the turkey mixture to the prepared pan. Press evenly and shape the top into a dome for even cooking of your healthy turkey meatloaf.
  4. In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Spread half of the glaze over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes. Remove and spread the remaining glaze over the top of your ground turkey meatloaf.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
