Tuscan Salmon with Parmesan Cream Sauce: An Incredible 5-Star Recipe


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the salmon fillets to the skillet, skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  4. Carefully flip the salmon and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the heavy cream and stir, allowing it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  8. Stir in the dried Italian herbs, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Place the cooked salmon back into the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Let it heat through for 1-2 minutes.
  10. Remove from heat, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
