- 2.5 cups whole milk
- 1.5 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama seasoning or Creole seasoning
- 0.5 teaspoon ground mustard
- 0.5 teaspoon turmeric
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
- 2 cups white cheddar cheese shredded
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 2 cups leftover beef brisket shredded
- 0.25 cup beef broth
- 0.25 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, heat the whole milk, heavy cream, and vegetable broth over medium heat until simmering.
- Whisk in the garlic powder, onion powder, Slap Ya Mama seasoning, ground mustard, turmeric, and black pepper.
- Gradually add the shredded white cheddar and sharp cheddar cheeses to the simmering liquid, stirring until melted and smooth. Keep heat low.
- In a separate small bowl, combine the shredded brisket with 0.25 cup beef broth and barbecue sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta and the brisket mixture to the cheese sauce. Stir gently until coated.
- Serve immediately, garnished as desired.
