Description

This Christmas Cranberry Honey Butter recipe is a festive holiday spread made with fresh cranberries, sweet honey, and creamy butter.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest (optional)
  • 1 pinch salt (if using unsalted butter)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine cranberries with a splash of water. Cook over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until they pop and soften. Mash slightly and let cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip softened butter until fluffy using a hand mixer or stand mixer.
  3. Add cooled cranberries, honey, and orange zest (if using) to the whipped butter. Mix until well combined and pink in color.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey if needed. Add a pinch of salt if using unsalted butter.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish or jars. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
