This Creamy Chicken Alfredo recipe transforms store-bought Alfredo sauce into a rich and flavorful dish with tender chicken, perfectly cooked spaghetti, and optional steamed broccoli.

- 2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into chunks
- Pinch of salt and ground black pepper
- 2 (16 ounce) packages spaghetti
- 4 (15 ounce) jars Alfredo sauce
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning, or to taste
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder, or to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 2 teaspoons ground black pepper, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon onion powder, or to taste
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
- 1 ½ cups shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 2 cups chopped broccoli
Instructions
- Gather all the ingredients needed for the recipe to ensure a smooth cooking process.
- Season the chicken chunks with a pinch of salt and ground black pepper. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the chicken. Cook for 7 to 10 minutes until the chicken is no longer pink inside and the juices run clear.
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook, stirring occasionally, for 8 to 10 minutes until tender but still firm to the bite (al dente). Drain the pasta when done.
- While the pasta cooks, add all the jars of Alfredo sauce to the skillet with cooked chicken. Season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, chopped onion, chopped fresh basil, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and cayenne pepper to taste.
- Bring the sauce and chicken mixture to a simmer. Stir in the shredded Parmesan cheese and continue to cook for 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens enough to coat a spoon without cheese clinging to it.
- Place a steamer insert into a saucepan and fill with water just below the steamer bottom. Bring water to a boil, add the chopped broccoli, cover, and steam for 2 to 6 minutes until tender. Add steamed broccoli into the Alfredo sauce mixture and stir to combine.
- Scoop the drained spaghetti into individual bowls and pour the creamy chicken Alfredo sauce over the top. Serve immediately and enjoy your creamy, flavorful meal.
