Gluten-Free Banana Bread: An Amazing Ultimate Recipe


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar or honey
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add the melted coconut oil, sugar or honey, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, and gluten-free flour.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  6. If desired, fold in chopped nuts and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  8. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Once baked, remove the banana bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. After it has cooled, slice the banana bread and enjoy as desired.
