Gluten-Free Banana Bread: An Amazing Ultimate Recipe

- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar or honey
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add the melted coconut oil, sugar or honey, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, and gluten-free flour.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- If desired, fold in chopped nuts and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove the banana bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- After it has cooled, slice the banana bread and enjoy as desired.
