- 8 oz feta cheese
- 8 phyllo dough sheets or spring roll wrappers
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes or 1 tsp chili oil
- 1 tsp lemon zest (optional)
Instructions
- Slice feta into finger-length sticks that are not too thick.
- Lay out phyllo sheets or wrappers and place a feta stick on one edge. Roll up like a cigar, folding in the sides.
- Brush with olive oil or butter and place on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15 to 18 minutes, flipping once, until golden and crisp.
- In a small saucepan, warm the honey with chili flakes or chili oil. Add lemon zest if using.
- Once rolls are baked, drizzle with chili honey while hot. Serve immediately.
