- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and melted butter until smooth.
- Add egg and vanilla extract and stir until well combined.
- Sprinkle in flour, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Gently fold until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips, saving a few to sprinkle on top.
- Spread batter evenly in the pan and top with remaining chocolate chips.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Let cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.
