Quick 20-Minute Peppermint Patties are easy, no-bake chocolate mint treats made with creamy peppermint filling and a smooth chocolate coating. Perfect for holidays, gifting, or everyday snacking.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 ½ cups powdered sugar
- ⅓ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 ½ cups dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or shortening
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix powdered sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and peppermint extract until a thick dough forms. If it’s sticky, add more powdered sugar.
- Roll dough into balls, then flatten into discs. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 10 minutes.
- Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in the microwave (30-second intervals) or over a double boiler until smooth.
- Dip each peppermint disc into the melted chocolate using a fork. Let excess drip off, then return to the baking sheet.
- Refrigerate until chocolate is fully set. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
