Description
This Samoas Puppy Chow recipe is a no-bake dessert snack packed with rich chocolate, gooey caramel, and toasted coconut.

- 6 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel bits or soft caramels
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 cup toasted coconut flakes
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Toast the coconut flakes in a 325°F oven for 5 to 8 minutes until golden, stirring halfway through.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, caramel bits, and heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract and salt.
- Place Rice Chex cereal in a large bowl. Pour in the melted chocolate-caramel mixture and gently stir to coat.
- Transfer the coated cereal into a large zip-top bag. Add powdered sugar and most of the toasted coconut, seal, and shake to coat.
- Spread the mix onto a baking sheet to cool completely. Sprinkle with the remaining coconut before serving.
