Description

Enjoy a delightful indoor treat with these Oven-Baked S’mores Pretzels. Combining the salty crunch of pretzel snaps with gooey melted marshmallows, rich semi-sweet chocolate, and a sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs, these easy-to-make snacks bring the classic campfire flavor right into your kitchen.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 100 pretzel snaps (square pretzels), divided
  • 25 regular-sized marshmallows, cut in half
  • 8 oz. (225 g) semi-sweet melting chocolate (dark chocolate can be used as well)
  • 3 graham cracker sheets, finely crushed or pulverized

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and place a rack in the center. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking and ease cleanup.
  2. Spread 50 pretzel snaps in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each for even heating.
  3. Cut each marshmallow in half and place one half, cut side down, on top of each pretzel snap.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the marshmallows puff up and just start to turn golden brown. Watch closely as oven times may vary.
  5. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and gently press a second pretzel snap onto each marshmallow to form a sandwich. Let them cool for a few minutes to set.
  6. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate according to the package instructions until smooth and fully melted.
  7. Dip each pretzel sandwich halfway into the melted chocolate, ensuring a nice coating on one side.
  8. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the crushed graham cracker crumbs over the dipped area of each pretzel for added texture and flavor.
  9. Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature for approximately 30 minutes. To speed up the process, you can refrigerate the pretzels for about 10 minutes until firm.

Notes

  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container.
  • You can customize the chocolate type based on your preference.
  • Try adding toppings like nuts or sprinkles for extra flavor.
