  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lime juice (for crema)
  • 1/2 tsp lime zest (optional)
  • Pinch of salt (for crema)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, pepper, and lime juice. Let marinate for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Whisk together sour cream (or Greek yogurt) with lime juice, zest, and a pinch of salt to make the crema. Chill until ready to use.
  3. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high. Cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred.
  4. Warm tortillas on the grill for a few seconds each side until soft and charred. Keep wrapped in a towel.
  5. Assemble tacos with grilled shrimp, cabbage, avocado, crema, and cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.
