  • 6 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 jalapeños, diced (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a large pot until crispy. Remove and set aside, reserving some bacon fat.
  2. In the same pot, add butter and sauté onion, garlic, and jalapeños until soft.
