Description
These Twix Thumbprint Cookies are soft buttery cookies filled with gooey caramel and drizzled in milk chocolate. A homemade twist on the classic candy bar, perfect for holidays, parties, or gifting.

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 20 caramel candies
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 0.5 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg yolk and vanilla extract, and mix well.
- Gradually add flour and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Roll dough into small balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
- Gently press your thumb into the center of each ball to form an indentation.
- Bake for 12–14 minutes, until the edges are golden.
- Melt caramel candies with heavy cream in the microwave until smooth.
- Spoon caramel into the indentations while cookies are still warm.
- Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the cooled, caramel-filled cookies.
- Let chocolate set before serving or storing.
